As a PLM Solutions Consultant at PTC, you will be responsible for leading consulting and implementation projects for Product Lifecycle Management solutions. Your role will involve defining client-specific solution architectures for PLM, focusing on either Application or Technical Architecture based on project requirements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will analyze requirements, design tailored solutions, and successfully implement them. Ensuring high-quality outcomes through effective software engineering practices and methodologies will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will contribute to the design of standardized solution components as part of our Services portfolio and support the continuous improvement of PLM strategies and methodologies within PTC Customer Success. Identifying opportunities for new projects and assisting in the development of future business will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will provide technical support for sales and marketing initiatives with strategic customers across EMEAI. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or possess equivalent practical experience. With 6+ years of experience in business processes or IT consulting, including Solution Architecture, Business Analysis, Software Development, or Technical Project Management, you will bring valuable expertise to the team. A proactive, goal-oriented mindset, strong customer focus, and commitment to delivering value are essential traits for success in this role. Your experience in leading workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholders will be beneficial. Hands-on experience with Windchill software, including configuration and customization, is required. A solid understanding of IT architecture in the context of PLM, software development, web technologies, and databases is important. Industry-specific PLM knowledge in areas such as automotive, aerospace, medical technology, electronics, high-tech, mechanical, or plant engineering will also be advantageous. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary for effective communication. As this role may involve travel, a willingness to travel as needed is expected.
