PLM GenAI Tech Specialist

As Ford Motor Company embarks on a significant multi-year Platform Lifecycle Management (PLM) program to modernize critical IT applications across the enterprise, we are heavily investing in Generative AI (GenAI) to accelerate delivery, enhance developer productivity, and unlock new capabilities. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and innovative GenAI Technical Manager (LL6) to take the lead in the technical development and implementation of GenAI solutions within this strategic program. Your role as the GenAI Technical Manager will be crucial in driving the practical adoption of GenAI at Ford. Your primary focus will involve creating accelerators for the PLM modernization effort, which includes migrating over 1600 applications to GCP, and significantly enhancing the Ford Developer Experience (DX). Collaboration with PLM program leaders, GDIA (Global Data Insight & Analytics), architecture teams, PDOs (Product Driven Organizations), and engineering teams will be essential as you design, build, and deploy cutting-edge GenAI tools and platforms. To excel in this position, you must possess deep, hands-on technical expertise in GenAI models and frameworks, along with practical experience in developing AI-driven solutions. A strong understanding of Ford's technical landscape, encompassing both legacy systems and cloud technologies, is crucial for success in this role.
