Business Development Representative chennai 15 years INR 3.0 - 6.0 Lacs P.A. Remote Part Time

The Role You’ll support and manage all business development activities: prospecting, discovery, coordinating demos, and hosting product webinars. You’ll work closely with founders to progress opportunities to pilots and subscriptions. What You’ll Do Represent goPLIMS as Business Development Executive in all business development activities Run structured discovery calls with prospects; and qualify Coordinate product demos with solution consultants; manage agendas, objections, and next steps. Build and maintain the prospect list Maintain CRM hygiene (leads, activities, pipeline, forecasts); prepare weekly/monthly reports. Provide voice-of-customer feedback to product/marketing. What We’re Looking For Experience: >15 years in B2B SaaS sales or solution sales in the international markets, preferably in managing project management platforms Retired professionals welcome: especially ex-Sales/BD/PM/ comfortable with software and client interactions. Commercial skills: pipeline building, discovery, objection handling, proposal coordination; comfort with targets. Presentation skills: confident on Teams Meet; can host and moderate webinars. Tools: CRM (Zoho or similar), Office/Google Workspace; basic slide creation. Language: Fluent in English, both verbal and written skills, required. Availability: 20 hours/week average; Nice to Have Network in Project Management Services Prior experience selling modular SaaS or workflow tools. Understanding of compliance/audit trails/data integrity concepts. Compensation & Engagement Retainer: competitive part-time monthly fee. Incentives: tiered commission on pilots/annual subscriptions; webinar hosting stipend. Reimbursements: local travel + phone/internet. Contract: independent contractor with NDA; flexible hours. Interview Process 20-minute phone screen. Practical task: 7–10 slide webinar outline for one goPLIMS module + a 3-minute value pitch (audio/video). 45-minute role-play (discovery + micro-demo run-through). Reference check & offer.
