Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to end-users across the organization. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensure optimal workstation performance, and support IT infrastructure initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Provide first and second-level support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware. Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing systems, phone, or in-person. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi). Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory. Support remote users via VPN and remote desktop tools. Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation. Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and escalations. Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards. Train users on basic IT tools and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common enterprise applications. Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and remote support tools. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (fluency in English is must). Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as Microsoft MCP, or ITIL Foundation. Experience with macOS and Linux environments.
