As a Retail Trade Settlement Specialist at PhonePe Limited, you will be responsible for the settlement of all products available in the Capital Market and Derivative Market. Your role will involve overseeing trade settlement, auction settlement, physical settlement, and managing client securities through processes such as pledging, re-pledging, un-pledging, and revoking. You will be expected to conduct daily controls and reconciliation functions for derivative and cash trades, as well as test and implement changes in the Backoffice system. Managing regulatory reporting requirements, corporate action handling, and addressing client queries, audit queries, and inspection queries will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will need to liaise with colleagues and other teams to resolve issues, drive system enhancements, and investigate exceptions. Taking ownership of work, clarifying issues, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness, and participating in projects involving new product rollouts and process improvements will be essential. A strong understanding of the end-to-end transaction cycle for derivative products, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment with time-critical deliveries are qualities that will contribute to your success in this role.
