RESPONSIBILITIES: To contribute for Electrical CAD project deliverables for Infrastructure projects as per WSP CAD standards. Responsible for Preparation of drawings including conceptual sketches and detailed drawings for electrical using Autodesk Autocad / Autocad Electrical software with quality and accuracy utilising knowledge of relevant design principles and standards. Prepare electrical design deliverables (Single Line drawings, Schematics, Wiring Diagrams and Terminations; and General arrangements etc.) based on engineering instructions, government and regulatory codes. Producing Electrical Drawings of LV & HV Electrical Systems including Main Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, Distribution Boards, PLC Panels and Control Panels. Must complete a high quality self check on own work with efficiency. Should follow internal QC process to deliver high standrads project documents. Perform revisions to engineering drawings, as marked up made by the Checkers and Leads. Verify to ensure drawing modifications are accurately and correctly carried out. Reporting progress of work assignment to immediate supervisor. Understands the project schedule. Communicate with internal peers and project team and may be required to answer questions regarding deliverables. This role is to contribute to growing utilities infrastructure CAD team delivering wet utilities (including Wastewater Sewage Pumping Station and Water management structures for municipal service) deliverables in compliance with WSP Australia CAD standards. Responsible for CAD tasks as directed by the CAD Manager and Engineer. Responsible for Material and Quantity take off and underground utility coordination. Actively participate in the design and provide input to the design team throughout the design process. Working knowledge of Autodesk Vault software. Our CDE (Common Data Environment).
