PLC Engineer (Site Support)

As an experienced Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for various aspects of installation, troubleshooting, programming, and technical support related to PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the physical installation, testing, and commissioning of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems at client sites. - Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in automation systems to minimize downtime. - Developing, testing, and maintaining PLC-based automation systems and designing HMI interfaces. - Designing and assembling electrical control and power circuits, and assisting with electrical installation and maintenance. - Acting as the main point of contact for clients on-site, providing technical assistance and training. - Coordinating Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) with customers and collaborating with vendors. - Performing root cause analysis on system issues and suggesting improvements. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA design. - Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Profinet). - Familiarity with electrical wiring, control schematics, and panel design. - Experience with a variety of industrial components like sensors, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for effective troubleshooting. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. - A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field is typically required for this position.,
