Job Description

Role Overview: As an Automation Test Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright and BDD frameworks. Your expertise will ensure high-quality deliverables in Agile environments. You will collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and scenarios, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in Agile ceremonies. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications. - Implement BDD (Behavior Driven Development) frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow. - Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects in tools like JIRA. - Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). - Maintain reusable libraries and ensure scalability of automation frameworks. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). - Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). - Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile projects. - Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, GitLab. - Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
