Playwright Automation Engineer / Lead

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation for testing activities.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines to provide faster feedback and improved product quality.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Participate actively in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies.
• Stay updated on the latest Playwright features, tools, and automation best practices.
  

Profile Requirements

• Proven experience as a Playwright Automation Engineer (2+ years) or Software Test Engineer (5+ years) with strong automation expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium (Java), including framework creation or customization.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and innovation.
