As a Kubernetes Platform Engineer at Torry Harris, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes platforms to support a diverse range of applications and services. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing the performance, security, and reliability of our platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and deploy Kubernetes clusters in various environments, including on-premises and cloud-based solutions. - Automate deployment processes and manage containerized applications using CI/CD tools. - Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments to ensure high availability and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for containerization and orchestration. - Implement security measures and compliance protocols for the Kubernetes platform. - Stay updated with the latest trends in Kubernetes and contribute to architectural decisions. - Exposure to multi-tenancy using Kubernetes. **Required Skills And Tools:** - Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. - Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kaniko. - Experience with Google Cloud (GCP). - Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitOps, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols within Kubernetes, Istio service mesh. - Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. - Experience in Observability Stack - FluentBit, Prometheus, Grafana, DynaTrace, ServiceNow. **Good To Have Skills And Tools:** - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
