Platform Engineer (freelancer)

Who Should Apply

Engineers with deep expertise in:

• Cloud architecture

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Design and deploy Kubernetes clusters with Helm, Kustomize, and Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Argo CD
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and optimize cloud cost and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust AI/ML platforms

Required Skills

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and scripting (Bash, Python)
• Experience with observability tools and security practices (RBAC, IAM)
• Familiarity with networking (VPC, Load Balancers, DNS) and performance tuning

Nice to Have

• Experience with Chaos Engineering (Gremlin, LitmusChaos)
• Knowledge of Canary/Blue-Green deployments
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments, FinOps, and cost optimization strategies
