As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing guidance to Lamps, HVAC, and proprietary parts vendors to enhance and standardize various processes and controls for ensuring quality sustainability. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating expertise in Molding (Plastic & Rubber), Painting (Metalizing process, spray painting), Brazing process, and Assembly process. - Utilizing your knowledge of Lamps (Bulb + LED type), HVAC, and proprietary parts PFMEA to identify areas for improvement. - Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies like Why-Why or 8D to address weaknesses at vendors and suggest solutions. - Supporting vendors in quality enhancement by offering insights into plastic molding, coating processes, metalizing, painting, soldering, welding, assembly operations, and fixture setups. - Implementing Capable Process setups for critical parameters and automation requirements. - Engaging in discussions and review meetings with vendor top management to ensure quality standards are met. - Managing Quality Management Systems such as ISO and IATF. In addition to the above responsibilities, you are required to possess the following competencies and skills: - Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in Lamps (Bulb + LED type), HVAC, and proprietary parts. - Experience in the development of Lamps, HVAC, and proprietary parts, including awareness of systems like APQP, PPAP, and Peak Volume Trials. - Ability to identify gaps in tools, fixtures, welding, and assembly processes. - Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO and IATF. - Strong analytical and data compilation skills. - Effective presentation and communication abilities. - Participation in theme-based Quality improvement activities. - Team collaboration skills. - Knowledge of IOT & digitalization.
