Job Title : Should Costing Engineer Plastic, Rubber & FRP Parts Experience : 6 to 10 Years Qualification : B.E. in Mechanical / Production Engineering Job Responsibilities Develop detailed should-cost models for plastic, rubber, and FRP parts using technical specifications, 2D/3D drawings, and BOMs. Analyze manufacturing processes such as injection molding, compression molding, extrusion, rotational molding, and FRP to estimate cost drivers. Identify cost-saving opportunities through design and process optimization recommendations. Evaluate material selection, tooling approaches, machine utilization, and process cycle times to build cost-effective solutions. Maintain a comprehensive database of cost models, manufacturing parameters, and material rates. Present findings and cost-saving recommendations to internal engineering teams and project stakeholders. Experience 6 to 10 years of experience in should costing or manufacturing cost estimation of plastic, rubber, and FRP parts. Strong understanding of relevant manufacturing processes and associated cost structures. Proven ability to identify key cost drivers and suggest engineering or process changes to reduce costs. Hands-on experience in building and validating cost models for low to high-volume parts. Preferred candidate profile Qualification B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Soft Skills Strong communication skills to clearly convey Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. A proactive and reliable team player with a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and contribute within a global delivery environment. Added Advantage Experience working within an engineering services organization supporting global clients. Experience in using costing software/tools (e.g., aPriori, Costimator) for plastic/rubber components. Familiarity with FRP manufacturing processes like hand lay-up, RTM etc. Strong analytical and presentation skills to support internal decision-making

Job Purpose Donaldson's MS Current Product Engineering, Global Tech Group is looking for an Engineer I. In this role, you would lead global Engineering Change Projects on both Product and Process fronts. Your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential for driving engineering projects forward. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and standards to ensure project completion aligns with manufacturing ease of processing while monitoring costs. This opportunity offers valuable insights into technology and a deep understanding of the engineering process. Key Accountabilities Identify the essential accountabilities of the role (5-6) and their purpose. It should NOT be a list of tasks that the jobholder must perform. Instead it should be a description of the duty areas and each duty typically refers to a number of tasks. Identify the key performance measurement criteria which should be quantitative and qualitative Leading projects for engineering changes in existing Air/Liquid/Hydraulic filtration products through CQP or Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Carrying out all project management activities from change initiation to implementation for various types of engineering changes such as qualifying a new supplier, new material, new tool for plastic parts, cost reduction and design changes. Communicating and collaborating with Project Leaders, Application Engineers, Sales Representatives, Suppliers, Procurement Teams, Quality and Production Engineers to implement engineering changes or find optimal solutions to problems. Utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence to obtain desired information about products and product supply. Reviewing engineering drawings and providing design guidance and input on plastic, rubber and sheet metal products. Recommending alternative solutions as required. Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to resolve engineering issues according to drawing standards and manufacturing feasibility. Demonstrating knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflow cycles. Proficient in software tools such as NX, Creo, Teamcenter and Oracle BI. Demonstrating design knowledge of engine filtration systems and supporting the development of design drawings to achieve technical objectives consistent with established guidelines, customer requirements and design specifications. Demonstrating Knowledge of ECO or ECN, Drafting, PPAP, DVP&R, Dimensional Reports, SPC, Testing & Validation protocols. Key Qualifications & Requirements Specific a cademic or professional qualifications/experience/competence necessary for this position ,JAPANESE LANGUAGE IS MUST Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field, Advanced degree preferred. knowledge of NX (NX11 is preferred), Creo, Teamcenter PLM and SharePoint a plus. Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Technical Competence & Skills: Understanding of industry design standards for gemetric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Experience with plastic part design Knowledge of injection, blow, rotational & rubber molding process Knowledge of sheet metal pressing & fabrication process Familiarity with ECN, Drafting, PPAP, DVP&R, Dimensional Reports, SPC, XFMEA, Testing & Validation protocols. Able to communicate effectively at a global level. Proficiency in organizing, planning, and coordinating with the Global Team to meet customer expectations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret the engineering documents (drawings, engineering specifications). Ability to respond timely & effectively to the critical inquiries / technical issues or complaints. Ability to make effective presentations on regular updates & critical issues to global team. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of global personnel. Ability to work flexible hours.
