Delivery Manager Location: Pune, Hybrid. Why are we hiring a Delivery Manager? The Delivery Manager will drive delivery excellence across Agile programs with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical or life sciences domain knowledge. The role requires proven expertise in SAFe PI Planning, Agile delivery, and portfolio reporting, ensuring seamless program execution and value delivery. The ideal candidate will have progressed from a Scrum Master role into Delivery Management, bringing both tactical and strategic delivery experience. Whos Instem? What are you responsible for? • Lead and manage delivery across Program Increments (PIs) with a focus on capacity planning, execution, and continuous improvement. • Facilitate and document PI ceremonies, ART syncs, and Value Stream syncs to drive alignment across teams and programs. • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards using tools such as Azure DevOps, Planview LeanKit, and Power BI to provide clear visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies. • Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, business, and regulatory functions to ensure compliance with GxP standards and organizational quality frameworks. • Act as the key coordinator for program teams to ensure timely, secure, and compliant delivery of initiatives. • Provide leadership and coaching to Agile teams, ensuring adherence to SAFe principles and best practices. • Track project progress, budgets, risks, and proactively drive resolution of issues. • Partner with stakeholders to facilitate design workshops, clarify requirements, and translate them into actionable delivery outcomes. • Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, automation, and reporting. • Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently Behavioural Competencies: • Strong motivator and leader of teams. • Excellent communicator and coordinator. • Effective decision-maker and negotiator. • Diplomatic with strong organizational skills. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field, life sciences, or related discipline. • Pharma or Life Sciences industry experience (mandatory). • Strong experience in SAFe PI Planning and Agile delivery management. • Proven track record of progression from Scrum Master to Delivery Manager role. • Hands-on experience creating delivery and portfolio dashboards in Azure DevOps, Planview LeanKit, Power BI (or equivalent tools). • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe Certification (highly desirable). • Excellent stakeholder and people management skills, with experience in regulated environments. • Experience of acquisition integration would be a plus. • Awareness of ISO9001, GxP standards, and secure coding principles (OWASP 10, SANS CWE 25) desirable. • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to manage cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
