Job Title: Security Officer Industry: Dairy / Food Processing Job Purpose: To ensure the safety and security of the dairy plant, personnel, assets, and operations by implementing and monitoring security procedures, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to emergencies in a timely and effective manner. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and control access to the plant premises for employees, visitors, and vehicles. Conduct regular patrols of the plant, warehouses, cold storage units, and perimeters. Supervise and inspect security systems including CCTV, alarms, gates, and lighting. Maintain detailed records of incidents, visitors, deliveries, and patrols. Check vehicles transporting milk, dairy products, and raw materials for proper documentation and security compliance. Requirements: Prior experience in industrial or plant security, preferably in the food or dairy industry. Knowledge of security systems and emergency procedures. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Physical fitness and willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends. Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of integrity and discretion. Security guard, must always be mindful of the surroundings to protect the property. This duty could include involve patting down people who are entering the building. The guard must stay vigilant, utilizing their keen sense of sight, hearing & smell.
