You will be the Plant Controller based at IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru, aligned with the Finance Controller and a member of Corporate Finance & Accounts team at Ather. Your main responsibilities will include managing day-to-day and period-end accounting of Plant operations, handling inventory valuation and consumption accounting, supporting the Record to Report team for financial reporting, and maintaining Cost of production, purchase, and inventory valuation in compliance with Ind AS. You will also be involved in building scalable ERP platforms with a strong ICFR framework, managing statutory audits for Plant operations, and actively overseeing sub-processes related to Inventory, Fixed Asset capitalization, and Plant expenditure. Additionally, you will lead and manage submissions for secretarial, tax audit, and tax assessment engagements, as well as participate in due diligence projects for fund raising and rating agencies. To excel in this role, you should possess in-depth experience in Accounting processes with prior exposure to IND-AS reporting, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience in Plant controllership/accounting in a listed manufacturing company, and familiarity with accounting applications such as SAP, BPC, Oracle, etc. You should have the ability to build successful relationships across stakeholders, effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within strict timelines. As the ideal candidate for Ather, you should be a Chartered Accountant with relevant work experience of 8-12 years post qualification. Additionally, you should be willing to visit the Plant at least two days a week for meetings and operational oversight.,
