Plant 3D Administrator

As an IT Systems Specialist at our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Strong knowledge of IT systems including Client Operating systems, Server configuration, and Software installation and configurations. - Setting up projects in Global Workshare and Standalone environment. - Installing, configuring, and setting up Plant 3D in conjunction with the information manager of the assignment project(s). - Interfacing with IT operations for 3D Administration support architecture. - Good knowledge of P&ID, Piping layouts, GA drawings, Piping BOM, Piping ISOs, and Spool Drawings. - Responsible for setting up a project, discipline mapping, piping specification development, CADD libraries, project drawing templates, and reports. - Creating digital specs, building user shapes, and developing pipe support assemblies. - Building and editing digital models in a 3D environment and assisting in the generation of 2D drawings across all disciplines. - Developing I-Configure and ISOGEN to create ISO styles to help manage and keep projects running efficiently. - Maintaining and verifying daily backup routines. - Generating the Clash Report periodically for 30%, 60%, and 90% Model Review requirements and resolving false clashes. - Generating Material Take Off for Piping Components, Valves, Steel, Instruments, Trays, etc. - Maintaining a log of unresolved operational issues associated with E3D and providing resolution after discussions with clients. - Creating Model Review File daily to enable the Engineering & Project Management Team to have a detailed model review. - Maintaining a report of changes made during the upgradation of the project in the Catalogue and Specification. - Proficient in the setup and integration of 3D Design Review Tools such as Smart Plant Review, Navisworks, etc. Requirements: - Software Expertise in Plant 3D / E3D or S3D, AutoCAD / MicroStation.,
