Planning Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor production and dispatch schedules as per project milestones.
• Coordinate with Design, QA/QC, Production, Stores, and Purchase departments for smooth workflow.
• Maintain machine-wise tracking sheets, Gantt charts, and daily progress reports.
• Update and monitor project status dashboards, highlighting critical delays and bottlenecks.
• Support resource allocation, load charts, and material requirement planning (MRP).
• Ensure timely generation of dispatch checklists, material movement tracking, and daily MIS reports.
• Assist in project documentation, client coordination, and follow-up for approvals (e.g., Afcons, Shapoorji Pallonji, etc.).

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in planning / production coordination in heavy fabrication or engineering industries.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), MS Project / Primavera, and ERP-based planning tools.
• Strong knowledge of QAP/ITP workflow, BOM management, and dispatch planning.

Skills Required

• Excellent analytical and coordination skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 17025 documentation practices preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
