Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline schedules of projects in line with the proposal requirements and the company strategies through the application of the Primavera P6 software.
• Establish the Work Breakdown Structure during the implementation of the project baseline schedule by deconstructing the project scope statement to more manageable pieces to include all work package levels.
• Perform resource planning/loading/allocations and prepare the required manpower and construction equipment histograms.
• Prepare the weekly and monthly work progress reports and S-curves based on the agreed progress measurement methods and updated schedule.
• Identify the critical paths of the project schedule and prepare preventive action plan to avoid any slippage of critical activities.
• Follow up on the project at all stages and record the dates, durations, productivity and earned value, and update the project schedule to determine and analyse the variance between the target plan and the actual.
• Prepare the delay analysis report and recommended corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Experience in Cost Control is plus

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) is mandatory.
• Minimum 3-7 years experience in planning and scheduling including having worked on large-scale projects.
• Certified in Primavera Professional
• PMP is plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to Travel abroad as required.
