We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant with 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and financial planning solutions . This role will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of SAC Planning models to drive enterprise-wide forecasting , budgeting , and what-if analysis . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial planning processes and SACs advanced capabilities, along with strong leadership abilities to guide global stakeholders and junior consultants. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions , including design, development, deployment, and support. Define architecture and best practices for model building , data actions , multi-actions , allocations , predictive forecasting , and value driver trees . Collaborate with finance, supply chain , and sales teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable planning models. Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA , BW/4HANA , HANA views , or external systems . Drive the performance optimization of stories, models, and planning workflows for maximum efficiency. Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior consultants and cross-functional teams. Manage stakeholder expectations , ensuring alignment and driving adoption across global business units. Conduct training sessions and workshops for key users, ensuring effective usage and understanding of SAC Planning. Stay updated with SAC product releases and introduce innovations and enhancements based on new features. Required Qualifications & Skills 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) , with a strong focus on financial planning solutions . Deep understanding and hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning . Strong experience in model building , data actions , multi-actions , predictive forecasting , and value driver trees . Expertise in integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA , BW/4HANA , HANA views , or other external systems. Strong financial planning knowledge , with experience in budgeting , forecasting , and what-if analysis processes. Ability to optimize performance in SAC stories, models, and planning workflows. Experience in leading and mentoring teams, guiding both junior consultants and business stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management and change management capabilities to drive adoption of SAC Planning across global teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in SAC advanced features , such as predictive forecasting , allocations , and multi-actions . Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA , SAP S/4HANA , and integrating external systems into SAC Planning models. Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud or related EPM tools . Familiarity with tools like SAP Solution Manager , JIRA , and ServiceNow . Soft Skills Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide teams and stakeholders. Excellent communication skills to effectively manage global business units and teams. Strong analytical skills , with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable , proactive , and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Key Internal/External Relationships Internal : Finance teams, Supply Chain teams, Sales teams, SAP technical teams, Project Managers, Junior Consultants. External : SAP Partners, Business Stakeholders, Third-Party Vendors. Role Dimensions Responsible for the design, architecture , and implementation of SAC Planning solutions. Drives the adoption and change management of SAC Planning tools across global business units. Ensures high performance and scalability of SAC models and workflows. Acts as a mentor and technical lead for junior consultants and project teams. Success Metrics (KPIs) Successful end-to-end SAC Planning implementation with minimal defects. User adoption rate and satisfaction with SAC Planning features. Timely completion of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. Effective stakeholder management and successful change management across global units. Continuous performance optimization and enhancement of SAC Planning models. Competency Alignment SAP Analytics Cloud Expertise : Deep functional knowledge in SAC Planning and EPM solutions. Financial Planning Process Expertise : Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and what-if analysis. Leadership & Mentorship : Ability to lead and guide teams, ensuring successful project delivery. Stakeholder Management : Managing expectations and driving the adoption of SAC tools across teams. Continuous Improvement : Focused on staying updated with SAC releases and introducing improvements.
