The Coordinator of Maintenance for the Plastic Industry in Montevideo (REF.UY013) is responsible for leading the maintenance operations in a specialized industrial plant focused on high-precision plastic solutions. You will be in charge of coordinating a technical team, ensuring the good condition of key machinery such as extruders and injectors, and implementing continuous improvements in critical processes for production. Your main responsibilities include leading and coordinating the maintenance team (4 technicians under your supervision), planning and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery, analyzing performance indicators and equipment efficiency, managing the stock of spare parts and necessary materials, recording interventions and proposing technical improvements, and ensuring compliance with industrial safety regulations and internal protocols. The ideal candidate should have a technical background in mechanics, electromechanics, or similar field, with a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience within the industrial sector. Specific knowledge of plastic injection and extrusion machines, as well as skills in leadership, planning, and effective communication are required. Additionally, the ability to make data-driven decisions and propose sustainable improvements is crucial.
