This is a cross-functional role at the intersection of branding, outreach and relationship management , critical to enhancing our placement outcomes and industry connect. Key Responsibilities: Student Placement Coordination: Oversee placement activities across 4 to 5 branches , ensuring students are prepared and aligned with job opportunities. Coordinate student interviews, job fairs and career counselling sessions in collaboration with training heads. Track placement metrics and ensure branch-level reporting and feedback loops. Corporate & Industry Tie-ups: Build and maintain strong relationships with HR managers, recruiters and industry partners to secure hiring opportunities. Represent George Telegraph during company visits, MoU signings and on boarding meetings. Maintain a database of hiring partners, recruitment needs and follow-up actions. Public Relations & Communication: Prepare and circulate success stories , placement highlights and media updates to promote the brand's placement strength. Manage internal and external communications related to student placementsemails, social media content (in coordination with the marketing team), press notes, etc. Ensure all communication is timely, professional and aligned with the brand tone of George Telegraph. Cross-Branch Coordination: Travel between designated branches to ensure ground-level placement operations are smooth and aligned with targets. Support branch heads in resolving employer coordination issues and student grievances related to placements. Eligibility Criteria: Graduate in any field or in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field is preferred. 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within education, training or skill development sectors. Strong written and spoken communication in English, Hindi and preferably Bengali. Ability to travel locally across branches as per placement calendar.
