As a Technical Support Engineer II, you will work closely with our customer base and sales department to handle day-to-day customer issues, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, and contribute to the development of support processes and documentation. This full-time position is based in our Chennai office at DLF IT Park, Manapakkam, and requires working 5 days a week. Your responsibilities will include handling customer issues, researching and diagnosing technical problems, providing high-quality support via phone, email, or chat, escalating unresolved issues to higher-level teams, and effectively communicating with end users, colleagues, and management to ensure quick issue resolution. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or college degree in a business or technical field or equivalent experience. You must have a minimum of 3+ years of customer support and help desk experience, with at least 2+ years of technical support experience working with global customers. Strong understanding of Active Directory, networking concepts, troubleshooting network issues, PKI concepts, TLS/SSL protocols, and certificate management is required. Proficiency in tools like MMC, OpenSSL, Java Keytool, Wireshark, and knowledge of servers like IIS, Apache, and NGINX are also essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organization skills, superior customer service abilities, experience with large and enterprise accounts, knowledge of corporate environment, and familiarity with Sectigo products and services. You should possess qualities such as integrity, fair-mindedness, and a congenial personality. This role involves hands-on work with cryptographic services, certificate lifecycle management, and ensuring the security and compliance of our PKI systems. Responsibilities: Design and Implementation : Architect and implement PKI solutions, including root CA, intermediate CAs, and associated policies. Develop and enforce PKI policies, procedures, and best practices. Design and manage certificate templates and issuance policies. Maintenance and Management : Oversee the day-to-day operations of PKI environments. Perform regular audits of PKI systems and processes. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for PKI systems. Security and Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST 800-53 and FIPS. Implement and manage hardware security modules (HSMs) for secure key management. Perform security assessments and risk management for PKI systems.
