The Lead Applications Software Developer at firstsourc provides high-level technical and analytical leadership to software development teams, manages business analysis activity, and oversees software development for external clients. In this role, you will contribute a high level of subject matter expertise to the IT department and coordinate the administration of assignments for projects and tasks. Additionally, you will champion IT strategic initiatives, bring awareness to industry trends, and mentor other software developers. Your primary responsibilities will include leading software development groups and teams through various stages such as change control, issues resolution, requirements management, analysis and design, programming/construction, testing, and transition of applications into a production environment. You will serve as a technical expert on development, coding, testing, and debugging stages, provide visibility to clients, and act as a frontline point of contact regarding standards.
