Pivotal Accessibility is seeking a dedicated Accessibility Tester to join our team in New Delhi. You will play a crucial role in conducting thorough accessibility audits across websites, web apps, documents, and more in accordance with WCAG 2.1, 2.2, and Section 508 standards. Key Requirements: 2-3 years of experience as an Accessibility Tester or in a similar role. Willingness to relocate to and commute daily to our New Delhi office. Availability to join immediately within 2 weeks. Proficient in using all major screen readers and automated accessibility testing tools. Experience in accessibility testing for diverse industries. Strong understanding of ADA and AODA. Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits on digital platforms, including websites, web apps, and documents. Utilize and test with all widely-used screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, TalkBack, VoiceOver). Leverage automated accessibility tools and plugins like aXe, WAVE, ARC Toolkit, and SiteImprove. Perform accessibility testing across various domains such as healthcare, banking, e-commerce, e-learning, travel, etc. Have a good understanding of creating VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) reports. Ensure conformance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 standards. Work proficiently across multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. Have sufficient knowledge of ARIA practices, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate with the development teams to enhance accessibility standards within projects. Nice-to-Have Skills: Accessibility certifications (a plus). A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for learning new technologies. Important Note: This is a full-time on-site role.
