Graphic design and more for Piql and the Arctic World Archive We need an experienced, creative, passionate, and ambitious graphic designer to create, develop, and produce a wide range of marketing material, various documents, and videos for our two brands, Piql and the Arctic World Archive. The job: Based on our design guidelines for Piql and Arctic World Archive, as well as a deep understanding (that you will need to proactively develop) of who we are, what we do, what our market and our clients are, where we are heading, etc, - create “kick-ass” design that makes us stand out and that strengthens our brand and identity . Typically, you will design and develop document templates, presentations (commercial and technical), brochures, banners, stands (for events and tradeshows), video intros and outros, social media, and various web/e-mail communication. We primary work with electronic marketing material, but we also do something on print, so you need to be able to create printable files. You shall also work with our business partners to help them with the design of e.g. localised brochures, etc., and to enforce that our design guidelines are followed. You shall report to our design manager, but we are a non-hierarchical organisation, and you shall relate directly to our sales team, communication team, as well as product management for both requirements as well as input for your work. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a design-related subject area, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of hands-on design experience, with experience in unifying UI/UX, visual, and graphic design. Should understand and have experienced that design is an important element in building excitement and trust in our brands. Should have an interest in technology in general and information and communication technology in particular. Able to implement known psychology-design concepts into the projects you're working on. Does not use generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for generating content Should be aware that there is a need to relate to and understand text and content from us and from the market to be able to create great design. A portfolio of work that showcases excellence in user experience and visual design Advanced in oral and written English. Desired qualifications: If you can create videos and animations, that will be great. And if you have experience with UI/UX design, even better. Other languages (known, if any): Norwegian, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, German Minimum Computer Skills · 3+ years of experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut Pro & DaVinci Resolve . · 3+ years of experience in Adobe After Effects , and/or Apple Motion . · 3+ years of experience in Adobe inDesign or Affinity Publisher . Preferred Computer Skills Highly skilled in Figma . Previous experience working with Sketch (by Sketch BV).
