Piping Stress Design Engineer

As a Piping Engineer at Mott MacDonald, you will be responsible for various key tasks including: - Being well versed with the use of Navis review software - Taking up isometric and model checking work as and when required - Acting as a single point of contact for matters related to pipe stress in all phases of the project - Being accountable for the technical integrity of the discipline work - stress - Monitoring and managing the technical interfaces with equipment and package suppliers - Representing the Piping discipline in meetings, discussions, audits, verification, and workshops related to pipe stress - Demonstrating the ability to carry out stress studies and associated calculations of piping systems - Preparing specifications and data sheets for stress-specific special items - Coordinating with other disciplines to confirm various operating scenarios and loads - Ensuring that stress recommendations are incorporated in piping design by signing and stamping on stress critical isometrics Qualifications required for this role include: - Qualified BE / ME in Mechanical / Chemical from a reputed university / institute - Experience in Engineering Consultancy firms, with a background in Chemical Industry / Pharmaceutical / Oil & Gas - Proficiency in relevant international standards like ASME, API, NEMA, EJMA, and stress study software like CAESAR.
