Job Description As a Piping Designer (Modeller- Detailed design) in Bangalore, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be piping modelling of FPSO Marine systems. You are expected to possess a strong knowledge of PDMS / Aveva Marine/E3D for this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking drawings/designs of vessel/FPSO marine systems and ensuring compliance with project guidelines and standards. In this position, you will play a crucial role in reviewing all documents & drawings prepared by juniors and actively participating in the detailed designing of piping. Your duties will also include preparing Material Take Off (MTO) and utilizing your experience on FPSO System, Safety, and Ventilation. Drafting will be a key aspect of your day-to-day tasks. The duration of this role is approximately 08 months to 1 year, with a possibility of extension based on project requirements. You will be responsible for generating safe and comprehensive models within specified timelines, considering constructability and cost-effectiveness. This includes implementing and preparing structural, equipment, and piping models in line with project design standards, codes, and specifications. Your role will involve modeling various structural elements such as grids, columns, beams, pipe racks, platforms, braces, slabs, openings, stairs, ladders, walls, handrails, foundations, connections, and more. Additionally, you should have an understanding of the roles of other design and engineering groups to effectively collaborate and incorporate inputs from various disciplines. Assessing and verifying vendor equipment drawings according to project requirements will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be involved in preparing civil/structural material take-off using SP3D and ensuring quality control of all drawings through civil quality checklists. Your tasks will include modeling access platforms in SP3D and AutoCAD, structural modeling for Staad analysis, cable tray support modeling in CADWorx, Plant3D, and Advance Steel, as well as modeling skid steel structures, pipe supports, racks, trenches, pavements, and equipment foundations using various software tools. You will also prepare skid GA drawings, plot plans, steel location plans, fabrication drawings, MTOs, and handle CADWorx administration tasks such as configuring settings, generating isometrics, editing specifications, and more. A strong working knowledge and experience with SmartPlant 3D (S3D) software is essential for this role.,

Job Summary: The Piping 3D designer is responsible for developing and maintaining 3D piping models for oil and gas projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with design standards, and integration with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed 3D piping models using software such as PDMS, E3D, Smart Plant 3D (SP3D), or similar tools. Generate piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings based on project specifications and design inputs. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, ASTM) and client requirements. Collaborate with piping engineers and other disciplines to ensure an optimized and clash-free design. To conduct clash detection using Navisworks or other model review software and provide resolution recommendations. Support piping stress analysis and integrate stress-critical pipe routing into the model. Review vendor drawings and ensure proper integration of equipment and piping components in the 3D model. Participate in model reviews, constructability assessments, and design coordination meetings. Maintain revision control and documentation of 3D models and associated drawings. Qualifications and Experience: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in 3D piping designing/modeling within the oil and gas industry. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as PDMS, E3D, SP3D, or similar tools. Strong understanding of piping design principles, equipment layout, and routing best practices. Knowledge of industry standards and specifications (ASME B31.3, API, ISO, etc.). Experience in clash detection, constructability reviews, and model coordination. Familiarity with piping material specifications, supports, and fabrication requirements. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
