Piping Layout - Lead (Offshore Engineering)

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E / B Tech) along with at least 10 years of relevant work experience. Experience in Piping & Layout Engineering of Offshore Platforms is a mandatory requirement for this role. As a suitable candidate, you should possess the following technical skills: - Ability to lead and work effectively as a team leader/player, managing a team of Engineers, Designers, and Draftsmen. - Define activities and piping deliverables, establish schedules, and coordinate activities with other disciplines during the BID phase, FEED Phase, and Detail Engineering Phase in accordance with the contract requirements. - Manage Piping Material Take off, Specification, Material requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation for procurement, and vendor follow up. - Conduct 3D Model Reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Ensure proper workflow, interfaces, quality checks, and approval of piping project documents. - Monitor and control project progress, man-hour budget, and adherence to efficient working practices. - Support project efforts by identifying changes to the contract scope as necessary. Additionally, proficiency in software skills such as 3D modeling and model review software is essential for this role.,
