Job Description: ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel (BPV) Code Inspector Responsible for conducting inspections of pressure equipment—including boilers, pressure vessels, piping, welding, and associated testing—in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, National Board Inspection Code (NBIC), and applicable jurisdictional requirements. The role ensures full compliance at all stages of fabrication, assembly, and final acceptance. Roles & Responsibilities Perform shop and field inspections (internal and external) during critical stages of fabrication and assembly. Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and proof tests as well as non-destructive examinations (NDE) per code and project requirements. Verify calibration and functionality of inspection and test equipment before and during use. Maintain a detailed ASME Inspector’s Diary , documenting daily inspections, findings, and witnessed events. Ensure the use of valid ASME BPV Code editions , certified materials (MTRs), proper metallurgical traceability , and comprehensive quality records . Review and validate engineering drawings, specifications, and design calculations for conformance with ASME Code requirements. Confirm Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) , Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) , and welder/operator qualifications are up-to-date and compliant. Monitor and document repairs to verify they meet ASME Code standards. Identify, document, and report non-conformances , ensuring corrective actions are implemented, verified, and properly closed. Confirm all ASME BPV Code requirements are satisfied before authorizing the U-stamp , and ensure proper application of nameplates and National Board registration marks . Participate in joint reviews with Certificate Holders and AI Supervisors as required.

Purpose & Scope of Position The Project Engineer (PE) will be part of an engineering stream providing engineering services to large and small projects. The PE provides support to the Project Manager (PM) and Engineering Manager (EM) and is responsible for supervising a team of working engineer and designers.
