Job Title: Piping E3D Designer Oil & Gas Projects Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Company: EPCOGEN Pvt Ltd Job Type: Full-Time Total Experience: 1015 years About EPCOGEN: EPCOGEN Pvt Ltd is an engineering services firm specializing in pre-bid, FEED, and detailed engineering for onshore and offshore oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and power projects. With office in Chennai, EPCOGEN offers end-to-end EPC solutions, including procurement, construction, and commissioning services. Key Responsibilities: • Develop 3D piping models using AVEVA E3D in accordance with project specifications. • Generate isometric drawings, piping layouts, and general arrangement (GA) drawings. • Collaborate with process, civil, structural, and stress analysis teams to ensure design integrity. • Review and incorporate vendor drawings and P&ID mark-ups into the 3D model. • Conduct model reviews and resolve clashes using E3D tools. • Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of materials (BOMs) for procurement. • Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API). Qualifications: • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Proficiency in AVEVA E3D ; knowledge of AutoCAD and other 3D modeling tools is advantageous. • 10–15 years of experience in piping design within the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical sectors. • Familiarity with brownfield and greenfield project environments. • Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications, and support systems. Preferred Attributes: • Experience with E3D and AutoCAD software. • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
