Pipeline Designer/Draftsman Oil&Gas - Offshore

Job Position : PIPELINE DESIGNER

Location : Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare

  pipeline route layouts

  , alignment sheets, pipeline profiles, and overall plot plans.
• Develop

  3D models

  for offshore pipelines, tie-ins, field layouts, and subsea structures.
• Generate

  detailed engineering drawings

  including Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, isometrics, and support details.
• Coordinate with pipeline engineers to incorporate stress analysis, wall thickness, and material specifications into design.
• Prepare

  pipeline crossing drawings

  , trenching/backfilling drawings, and installation engineering support deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with

  international offshore pipeline standards

  (DNV, API, ISO).
• Review vendor drawings and interface with multidisciplinary teams (Structural, Mechanical, Subsea, Process).
• Support offshore installation planning, including spool drawings, as-built updates, and revision control.
• Perform design checks, clash checks, and ensure model completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain document control and follow project drafting/design procedures.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10+ years

  of design experience in

  Offshore Rigid Pipeline

  projects.
• Proficiency in

  3D modeling tools

  : AutoCAD, MicroStation,

  PDMS/E3D

  , or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of

  DNV-ST-F101

  ,

  API

  , and offshore pipeline design codes.
• Experience preparing offshore pipeline deliverables from concept to detailed engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering documents, P&IDs, specifications, and installation procedures.
