PiePay is backed by 100x.VC Role Overview: As a Backend Developer, you'll be at the core of PiePay’s innovation, building scalable, high-performance systems that will serve millions of users. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of backend development, collaborate with a highly skilled team, and work directly alongside our IIT Madras alumni founders. At PiePay, you won’t just be writing code—you’ll be shaping the technology that drives a disruptive fintech product, solving real-world challenges at scale, and accelerating your growth in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities: Translate product requirements into robust features, taking complete ownership from design through development to deployment. Architect comprehensive system designs, develop efficient database schemas and REST APIs that support future scaling. Plan and implement scalable infrastructure, optimise APIs, conduct load testing, and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Proactively troubleshoot and fix bugs and production issues to maintain optimal system performance and reliability.
