Role Description

This is an internship position for a Physiotherapist in a hybrid work setting based in Chennai, with partial work-from-home opportunities. Responsibilities include assessing patients physical conditions, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing physiotherapy sessions, monitoring patient progress, and documenting reports. Additional duties may involve educating patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, or lifestyle modifications to improve their physical health.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in assessment and treatment planning, including understanding human anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic modalities.
• Hands-on skills in physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and pain management strategies.
• Strong communication, patient interaction, and counseling abilities to educate and motivate patients effectively.
• Administrative and documentation skills to maintain accurate treatment records and reports.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related discipline is required.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Certification or training in specialized physiotherapy techniques or areas (e.g., sports rehabilitation, pediatric physiotherapy) is a plus.
• Empathy, patience, and a solution-focused mindset when working with patients.
