Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Patient Care:

Conduct physical examinations and take medical histories.
Diagnose illnesses and injuries and determine appropriate treatments.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and X-rays.
Prescribe and refill medications (subject to local regulations).
Provide patient counseling on health practices and disease prevention.
Assist in surgeries and perform minor procedures.

Administrative and Support:

Maintain and update patient health records.
Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Assist physicians with other duties as needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Patient Education and Communication:

Educate patients and their families about medical conditions.
Act as a primary point of contact for patients, addressing their questions and concerns.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency with technology and electronic health records (EHR).
