As a Medical Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide general medical care under the guidance of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Your duties will include obtaining patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, preparing patients for physical exams, explaining procedures and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely test performance, administering medications, drawing blood, performing laboratory tests and equipment maintenance, responding to lab messages, conducting drug screening procedures, documenting patient immunizations, and more. To qualify for this role, you should have an Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants. The compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour.
