Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver physical education lessons, including team sports, individual activities, and fitness exercises.
Assess and monitor student progress in physical fitness and skills development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment encouraging participation from all students, including those with special needs.
Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and school-wide physical events.
Educate students on the benefits of physical activity, nutrition, and healthy living habits.
Maintain records of student attendance, progress reports, and fitness assessments.
Collaborate with other educators and health professionals to support student wellness programs.
Stay updated with the latest practices in physical education through professional development.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of sports, fitness training, and health education.
Effective communication and motivational skills to engage students.
Ability to manage and supervise student behavior and safety.
Teaching qualifications in physical education and sometimes first-aid certification.
