As a Wireless Systems Integration & Test Engineer at XCOM, your primary responsibility will be to conduct tests and evaluations of innovative wireless technologies in controlled wireless environments as well as real-world conditions. This will involve setting up end-to-end systems in lab and field settings to ensure full functionality and satisfactory system performance. You will also be tasked with designing test plans, scenarios, procedures, and scripts for evaluating wireless system performance and troubleshooting end-to-end issues. Furthermore, you will assess system performance and stability through testing in both lab and field environments and will be expected to generate detailed test reports to present to customers. To excel in this role, you should ideally possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Additionally, a strong understanding of 5G NR (NSA/SA) protocol stacks, including PHY/MAC/RLC/PDCP/RRC/NAS/Upper layers and core network, is required. Experience in debugging 5G NR protocols, features, call flows, or other networking-related issues using tools such as QXDM and Wireshark is essential. Proficiency in TCP/IP and general Internet protocols is also necessary, along with strong scripting skills in Linux systems and Python for test automation and data processing. It would be considered a bonus if you have experience with tools like Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, Gitlab, and Jira, as well as experience in 5G NR software development.,
