As a member of the development team in Visakhapatnam, your responsibilities will include estimating development tasks, writing code and tests, reviewing code from other team members, coordinating the team for successful sprint deliveries, and assisting in breaking down business-case requirements into development tasks. Additionally, this role offers the potential for increased leadership responsibilities in the future. Ideally, you should possess a strong passion for software development and take pride in the quality of code you produce. Your expertise should lie in modern PHP development, particularly with modern MVC frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or Code Igniter (preferably Laravel). You should have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, experience in developing testable code with unit tests, familiarity with tools like composer, PHPUnit, and phpspec, and a good grasp of client-side JavaScript, including AJAX and preferably some exposure to Angular 1.x. Moreover, experience with Node.js using Express JS, developing web applications with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap, understanding REST and REST API design, integrating third-party APIs, and working in agile environments, ideally SCRUM, are essential requirements. You should also have strong git and gitflow experience, practical debugging skills, attention to detail while considering the overall business context, and the ability to review team members" code constructively and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Minimum qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering/technical discipline, a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in web application development, with over 3 years of PHP and JavaScript experience each, and proficiency in MySQL database management.
