Job Description

As a PHP Developer at our Bangalore office, you will leverage your 7-9 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications and services using PHP, symfony, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and jQuery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical specifications, and translate them into scalable solutions. Your role will involve architecting and implementing efficient and reusable code, following best practices and coding standards. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of applications will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Working closely with stakeholders, you will understand business objectives, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Participation in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, is essential to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget. You will also contribute to technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and user guides, to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer. Your proactive identification of opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization will streamline development workflows and increase productivity. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and data structures is expected, along with experience in RESTful API development, integration, and consumption. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, continuous integration/deployment tools, and agile methodologies is required. Your excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and passion for delivering high-quality software solutions will be put to good use. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. You should have proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and lead a small team of 3-4 members.
