PHP Laravel Developer

As a skilled and experienced Laravel Developer, you will be joining our development team to build scalable and high-performance web applications using PHP and Laravel framework. Your responsibilities will include developing robust backend APIs, managing databases, and collaborating with front-end developers and product teams to ensure seamless user experiences. You will be expected to: - Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel framework. - Build and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend modules. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Laravel best practices. - Work with MySQL databases, write optimized queries, migrations, and Eloquent models. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend logic with user interfaces (Blade, Vue.js, or React). - Implement authentication, authorization, and data validation processes. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability. - Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews. - Engage in agile development cycles (sprints, standups, retrospectives) and contribute to application architecture decisions. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred). - 3+ years of professional experience in Laravel development. - Strong command of PHP 8.x+, Laravel 8/9/10, and MVC architecture. - Solid understanding of MySQL, database relationships, and query optimization. - Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations. - Experience with tools like Postman, Git, Composer, Laravel Mix, and Artisan. - Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end integration. - Knowledge of cloud hosting environments (e.g., cPanel, VPS, AWS, DigitalOcean) is a plus. - Working knowledge of testing tools (PHPUnit or Pest) is a plus. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of Livewire, Inertia.js, or Vue.js. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, queue workers, cron jobs, and caching. - Familiarity with Laravel packages like Spatie, Laravel Sanctum, Passport, Horizon, etc. - Understanding of security best practices in web development.
