PHP, MySQL, Ajax, JavaScript BE/B.Tech in Computer Science (Only) Responsibilities: Web Application Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain server-side application logic using PHP and chosen framework (Laravel or CodeIgniter). Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code following best practices, coding standards, and SOLID principles. Develop and integrate robust APIs (RESTful/SOAP) to connect with frontend applications and third-party services. Framework Expertise: Leverage the full capabilities of either Laravel or CodeIgniter to build efficient and secure web applications. Utilize framework-specific features such as MVC architecture, ORM (Eloquent for Laravel), routing, authentication, and templating engines (Blade for Laravel). Customize and extend framework functionalities to meet specific business needs. Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas (primarily MySQL/PostgreSQL, but experience with others is a plus) to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability. Write efficient SQL queries, manage database migrations, and perform performance tuning. Implement data storage solutions and ensure seamless interaction between the application and the database. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with frontend developers to define API contracts and ensure smooth integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to team discussions. Effectively communicate technical concepts and project progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Performance & Security: Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached). Ensure the security of web applications against common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, CSRF). Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure application stability. Testing & Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and API tests using testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit). Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge within the team. Debug and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
