About The Role
This is a full-time on-site role for a PHP/Fullstack Developer located in Pune. The PHP/Fullstack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end and front-end components of web applications. Daily tasks include designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of various web elements. The developer will employ best practices in software development and adhere to coding standards to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in PHP and full-stack development, with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks and WordPress customization. They should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 2 to 3 years in full-stack web development, specifically with PHP and JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Core PHP, and WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and React JS.
- Experience with Node.js and modern PHP frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with database management and SQL optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with third-party API integrations (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc.)
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using WordPress, Core PHP, and custom solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions.
- Maintain and upgrade existing WordPress products, ensuring they are secure, optimized, and aligned with best practices.
- Integrate third-party services, including authentication systems, CRMs, email marketing APIs, payment gateways, and other external APIs.
- Conduct security and performance audits of applications to identify vulnerabilities and optimize system performance.
- Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code adhering to industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, issues, and technical challenges promptly and efficiently.
- Engage directly with end-users and clients to understand their needs and provide technical support and solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices.
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and project planning sessions to ensure quality and timely delivery.
