Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-performance web applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using PHP and Laravel frameworks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a solid foundation in OOP and algorithms, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and incrementally refactor PHP components into future-proof modules
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and development teams to define technical requirements.
• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP 7+ and Laravel.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL) to design, optimize, and manage data models.
• Implement and maintain application logic using Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Contribute to code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, and sprint planning.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of

  PHP 7+

  and

  Laravel framework

• Hands-on experience with

  MySQL

• Solid understanding of

  Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

  .
• Strong foundation in

  Data Structures and Algorithms

Communication:

• Facilitates team and stakeholder meetings effectively
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
• Astute cross-cultural awareness and experience in working with international teams (especially US)
