PHP Developer (Cake)

Location

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using

  CakePHP

  and

  core PHP

  .
• Work with frontend and backend teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  
• Write clean, scalable, and reusable code following best practices.
  
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and handle third-party service integrations.
  
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment.
  
• Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
  
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.
  
• Collaborate with the product and QA team for timely delivery.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in

  PHP development

  with strong expertise in

  CakePHP framework

  .
• Good understanding of

  MVC architecture

  and

  OOP principles

  .
• Strong experience with

  MySQL

  or other relational databases.
• Proficient in

  HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  , and AJAX.
• Experience with

  REST APIs

  , authentication (OAuth/JWT), and JSON/XML.
• Familiarity with

  version control systems

  like Git.
• Basic knowledge of

  Linux commands

  and web hosting.
