PHP CodeIgniter Developer

As a skilled PHP CodeIgniter Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining web applications. Your expertise in PHP development and the CodeIgniter framework will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and optimize application performance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework. - Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. - Design and manage MySQL databases, optimize database performance, and write complex SQL queries. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, work with third-party APIs and services. - Conduct code reviews, provide feedback to other developers, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot issues. - Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions. - Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications, troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. - Adhere to coding standards and best practices, stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a focus on the CodeIgniter framework. - Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap. - Proficiency in using version control systems, particularly Git. - Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: - Experience with other PHP frameworks like Laravel. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Understanding of web security best practices.
