Job Description

As a Laravel Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems and API endpoints using the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, responsive applications and ensure best practices are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Laravel. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Develop and manage database schemas using ORM and migrations. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure quality. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. Maintain and troubleshoot existing Laravel applications. Work with version control systems (Git) and participate in code reviews. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Laravel and PHP. Collaborate closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of experience with Laravel and PHP development. Proficiency with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (Vue.js/React experience is a plus). Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is a plus. Knowledge of version control tools, particularly Git. Understanding of security and data protection practices. Experience with deployment and continuous integration processes.
