Photographer

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture professional photographs of university events, seminars, workshops, campus infrastructure, faculty, students, and other university activities.
  
• Plan and execute photoshoots for marketing materials, brochures, website, social media, and other communication channels.
  
• Edit and retouch images to ensure high-quality output using appropriate software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to understand photography requirements and deadlines.
  
• Maintain and organize a digital archive of photos for easy access and retrieval.
  
• Ensure proper maintenance and handling of photography equipment.
  
• Stay updated with the latest photography trends, techniques, and equipment.
  
• Assist in video shoots and post-production if required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma, degree, or certification in Photography or related field preferred.
  
• Proven experience as a professional photographer, preferably in educational institutions or corporate environments.
  
• Proficiency in using DSLR or mirrorless cameras and photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and diverse photography styles.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with faculty, students, and staff.
  
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  

Preferred:

• Experience in videography and video editing.
  
• Knowledge of lighting techniques and studio photography.
  
• Familiarity with social media content requirements and formats.
