As a Product Manager at our company based in Bangalore, you will be leading hardware management initiatives with a focus on telephony and phone devices. Your role will involve driving the product roadmap, building key relationships with external partners, and collaborating seamlessly with our internal Supply Chain and Sales teams to deliver innovative hardware solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Product Strategy & Roadmap:** - Champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hardware management, specifically focusing on telephony and phone devices. - Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs. - Translate business requirements and market insights into detailed product specifications, user stories, and use cases. - Prioritize features and initiatives based on strategic impact, technical feasibility, and business value. - **Partnership Management:** - Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams and external hardware partners to ensure clear communication and strategic alignment. - Facilitate collaboration throughout the hardware lifecycle, including firmware development, managing customer escalations, and issue resolution. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** - **Supply Chain:** Collaborate closely to optimize sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics for hardware components and finished goods. - **Sales:** Understand customer needs, develop product narratives, and support sales enablement efforts. Provide product training and technical expertise. - **Engineering & Design:** Ensure technical feasibility, optimal performance, and operation for all certified hardware devices. - **Marketing:** Develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging for new hardware releases. - **Support:** Develop support pages and knowledge base articles for products and features, ensuring accurate customer information. - **Product Lifecycle Management:** - Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring successful launches and ongoing product health. - Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement. - Manage product obsolescence and transition strategies. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, focusing on hardware products like IP phones, headsets, and related accessories. - Demonstrated expertise in telephony and phone devices. - Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and logistics. - Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to influence diverse stakeholders. - Experience working closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to lead hardware management initiatives, with a strong emphasis on partnership development, cross-functional collaboration, and expertise in telephony and phone devices. This role requires an energetic Product Manager who will drive the product roadmap, foster key relationships with external partners, and work seamlessly with our internal Supply Chain and Sales teams to deliver innovative and high-quality hardware solutions. Work Location: Bangalore Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap . Champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hardware management, with a keen focus on telephony and phone devices. . Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs. . Translate business requirements and market insights into detailed product specifications, user stories, and use cases. . Prioritize features and initiatives based on strategic impact, technical feasibility, and business value. Partnership Management . Cultivate robust relationships with internal teams and external hardware partners to ensure clear communication and strategic alignment. . Facilitate collaboration throughout the hardware lifecycle, encompassing firmware development and certification, managing customer escalations, and conducting issue investigation and resolution. Cross-Functional Collaboration . Supply Chain: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to optimize sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics for hardware components and finished goods. . Sales: Collaborate with the Sales team to understand customer needs, develop ing product narratives, and support sales enablement efforts. Provide product training and technical expertise to the sales force. . Engineering & Design: Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure technical feasibility, optimal performance and operation for all certified hardware devices supported. . Marketing: Work with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging for new hardware releases. . Support: Work closely with the Support team to develop comprehensive support pages and knowledge base (KB) articles for new and existing products and features, ensuring customers have access to accurate information. Product Lifecycle Management . Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring successful product launches and ongoing product health. . Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on products to drive continuous improvement. . Manage product obsolescence and transition strategies. Qualifications . Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field MBA or advanced degree preferred. . Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with a focus on hardware products (preferably IP phones and related accessories as well as headsets and related accessories). . Demonstrated expertise in telephony and phone devices is essential. . Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and logistics. . Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders. . Experience working closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams. .
