Phlebotomist/Health Care Assistant

Role Overview: As a Phlebotomist, your primary role will involve drawing blood from patients using venipuncture or other methods to ensure accurate sample collection. You will be responsible for explaining procedures to patients, answering their questions, and providing support to manage any anxiety or concerns they may have. Additionally, you will be tasked with labeling and preparing samples for testing, ensuring proper storage and transport to the laboratory. Your duties will also include recording patient information and sample details in databases and reports, as well as cleaning, maintaining, and disposing of medical equipment and instruments. Key Responsibilities: - Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or other approved methods - Educate patients on procedures, answer their questions, and provide support to alleviate anxiety - Handle and prepare samples for testing, ensuring proper storage and transport - Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and sample details - Clean, maintain, and dispose of medical equipment and instruments - Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene protocols, infection control measures, and quality control procedures - Manage supplies and inventory related to phlebotomy procedures - Prefer freshers for the role - Age preference: 22 - 35 years Qualifications Required: - Certification in Phlebotomy or relevant field - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in sample collection and documentation Please note that this job offers health insurance, provident fund, yearly bonus, and requires working in a morning shift at an in-person location.,
